Outfit Post

For those of you who don't know yet, after much thought and consideration, I've changed the course I'm studying at uni. I started the year doing illustration which, don't get me wrong, I totally LOVE but I think I just prefer to do it in my own time and do my own thing rather than being told what to do. When choosing what to study at uni in the first place, it was a toss up between illustration and photography so chose to apply for both, and ended up getting offers for both! So luckily I already had an offer for another course, making the whole transfer a lot easier. To cut a long(ish) story short, I've now chosen to study BA (Hons) Photography for the next three years. It was definitely the right decision as I actually look forward to the lectures, seminars and work now, and am really looking forward to all the new things I'll learn and the progress I will (hopefully!) make.

Basically, this is the reason I've been rubbish on the blog at the moment! As I've got to catch up on all the work they've already done, I have A LOT to do and therefore won't be able to blog as much as I'd like. This will only last a little while until I'm all caught up, so do not fear (not that anyone actually will be fearing)!

Anyway, I'm blabbing on! This is an outfit I wore recently when Lily came to stay at uni with me. The shirt and jeggins are both new so it was fun to take them out for a little test ride. The mustard shirt is from Matalan and was only £7 in the sale! I know blood reds seem to be the colour for this season, but I still love this mustard colour and think it's perfect for the autumn/winter days ahead.

I bought these jeggins recently too from New Look for only £12.99 which is an amazing price. Normally I'm so stingey and don't like to buy things for over a tenner, but I've wanted some black jeans for a while but tend to find that jeans and I don't get along so these are perfect as they look exactly like jeans, but are stretchy and have an elasticated waist belt (you've got to plan ahead to those winter nights stuffing yourself with sherry and mince pies yanoo!).

Sorry for the length of this post, just had that little update to fill you in on! I'm also trying out picture layouts at the moment to see which I like the best, please let me know what you think! Do you like more, larger pictures, or the set up I had before?
