I grabbed some frozen strawberries so I could ice your bruising knees.

Topshop Jacket // Lush Cosmetics Cupcake Face Mask // Nasty Gal Boots // Barry M Nail Polishes (1, 2 and 3) // Brother Sewing Machine // Rock 'n Rose Flower Crown

I have lots of ideas for posts all ready (pretty sure I dreamt about it last night too!) which is good, but I was unsure as to which one I should start with. When browsing others blogs I noticed that a weekly/monthly wish list was common. I really like this feature people do and thought that, seeing as it's my birthday this Sunday (yaaaaaaaay!!), that I would do a birthday wish list. So above are 6 ideas of things I would love for my birthday (I know, I know, there's no chance I'd ever get the Nasty Gal boots, but a girl can dream hey!).

✭ So to start, I have been needing a new biker style jacket for a while now as the one I had before has been totally worn into the ground (I didn't actually notice until Jack pointed out that the material on the back was peeling off where my bag had been, so so bad!). I spotted this Topshop one when in town with my mum and rushed to try it on. I instantly loved it and it's a pretty good price at £65 seeing as it's something I would keep for years.

✭ Next we have the Lush Cosmetics Cupcake Face Mask. Normally I never use face masks as I never notice any difference, but a few days ago the lovely Lily from Red Brick Lipstick invited me across the road to try out one of the six different flavours (is it a flavour?) of the Lush face masks she had. If anyone knows me, they know I am a typical chocolate obsessive so instantly chose the chocolate smelling one, 'Cupcake'. After taking it off, I was impressed that a) I could still smell the gorgeous chocolate aroma on my face, and b) how my skin looked. It looked and felt so fresh and seemed to erase any impurities, giving a flawless effect. I would definitely recommend this which is why it makes an appearance on my wish list, and for only £5.95!

✭ To be honest I don't really know why I have included these shoes. There's more chance of me winning the lottery than ever getting these for my birthday (I don't do the lottery so you get the idea). But there has been so many occasions where I have sat for hours scrolling through the Nasty Gal website, drooling over crazy-ass shoes that would fit perfectly in my closet, that I felt I might as well put them in (it is a WISH list after all). Oh well, maybe one day I'll have a spare $265 floating around.

✭ I really love nail art, but sometimes it just takes too long to do. And then you smudge it. So these Barry M nail polishes would be very welcome in my varnish collection as a quick fix when I don't have much spare time.

✭ I've added in this sewing machine, although it's not really a 'wish' as my mum has already told me that it's my main birthday present. I have wanted one for ages and I can't wait to not have to hand stitch all the little things I make! I am unsure as to which one I want yet so my mum and I are going to the John Lewis in Bristol this week to pick one. I'm excited!

✭ And lastly, this beautiful flower crown from Rock 'n Rose. I got a couple last year from Primark but they were only small so would love to get one of these larger ones. It's a little pricey for me at £36, but that's why it's one for the birthday list.

This post is really quite long now, but there you have it, six different ideas of things I'd love for my birthday. Eeeeeeee only six days now!!

  1. Lovely post, I really want a leather jacket in my wardrobe too I feel like every blogger and their mother have one and I don't.
A sewing machine would be a good investment for making things. It's one of those items I've never had but I think would be amazing (:

I know! The leather jacket I have now is okay, but not the nicest style and I always see so many people with so many lovely styles. So keeping my fingers crossed about that one!
And yes, I cannot wait to get my sewing machine! Should make life a lot easier hopefully!
